Mr. Warren Wessels introduces himself as a South African educator hailing from Durban, a popular destination known as "South Africa's playground." He holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Further Education and Training from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Mr. Wessels specializes in Biological Sciences and English Language and Literature, recognizing the importance of biology in understanding life and the significance of English in navigating it. Drawing inspiration from Indonesian author Pramoedya Ananta Toer, he embraces the idea that painting is literature expressed through colors, while literature is akin to painting using language.
Mr. Wessels embarked on his teaching career in 2010, initially instructing Senior Biology and English at his alma mater, Durban Academy. After six and a half years, he decided to explore new opportunities and found his way to NJIS, where he currently teaches. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Wessels derives his passion for life from nature, acknowledging the incredible beauty of our planet. With a camera in hand, he aims to capture the captivating wonders, diverse cultures, and remarkable individuals that inhabit our world. He abides by the personal motto inspired by philosopher Rumi, encouraging himself and others to venture beyond comfort, embrace notoriety, and seek out those who ignite their passions.

Christania Anthonny or Tania was originally from Indonesia. She started to work in the Early Childhood Education field from the year 2014 and fell in love with it eversince. She admires the work of Dr. Montessori for the early years and that is what inspires me to become a better educator from time to time. To see the life of children growing and developing in their golden period is her biggest passion.
In her point of view, what makes the EY different is that we focus not only on their academic skill but we also prepare them for life, not only for school.
